One of the most important portions of our vision of solow is that we keep it free for the artists. Anyone can just sign up – no money exchanged. This is really important to us. Producing theatre is hard and we don’t want to make it harder by making it cost more.
That said – helping to curate the festival costs a little bit of money. Not a lot – we’re pretty thrifty people. But between operating a website, hosting a party and a few other odds and ends it costs a little bit of money. We aren’t 501c3 but if you have a few extra bucks and would like to support some of the administration – we will happily take some money to put to the operating costs.
